The official online portal for beverage permit applications in Anderson County, Tennessee. Apply for a new permit or check the status of an existing application.

Application Requirements

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
  • Applicant must obtain a business license
  • Background check required upon applying
  • Establishment must be 810 feet from a church, school, or public gathering place
  • Applicant must attend the Beverage Board meeting
  • Fingerprints turned into County Clerk office 20 days prior to Beverage Board meeting

Fees & Documents

  • $250 non-refundable application fee paid with the application
  • $100 annual privilege tax due January 1 of each year
  • Picture of the establishment required
  • Plat map with footage on statement
  • One notarized copy of the application
  • Fingerprints required by the Beverage Board, done by a TBI contractor (cost paid by applicant)

The applicant must meet all requirements of the Beverage Board; the County Clerk office is not responsible for any delays or applicant error.

Beverage Board Meeting Schedule

The Anderson County Beverage Board meets on the second tuesday of the month at the Anderson County Courthouse.

Fingerprints must be turned into the County Clerk office at least 20 days prior to the Beverage Board meeting.
